I've been thinking...smell something burning? Seems there are thousands and thousands of PPC 2002 themes out there that feature photographs as the background. Yeah...I'm guilty. I've done a lot of those. I spent a whole lot of time skinning Dashboard last year. It's much more challenging and requires a lot more time and skill. When PPC 2002 and it's themes came along, it was possible for anyone to personalize their device, even without any artistic ability. That's all well and good, and there are some great looking themes out there. But I miss the challenge. So, I'm going to try to lay off the photographs for a while and design themes that take just a little more effort and creativity. I'm working on a new skin for Dashboard/WisBar that I hope to have finished up this weekend. Until then, please enjoy this 2002 theme. It's based on an old Dashboard skin that I made sometime ago.
