I was only 13 when it happened to the Challanger.. I am in shock that it has happened again.

Beautiful tribute, Deb. I remember Challenger very well. My Physics teacher was in the program, and gave up his pimary standing in the pogram when his wife got pregnant. He knew Christa McAuliffe very well. I watched the explosion on TV at lunch, ran back to school, and was the unfortunate one to tell him that his good friend had passed with the rest of the crew. The seven from Columbia will always be missed!

Man, you guys are making me feel old. My daughter was born in 1986, several months after Challenger. I remember the day very clearly. Sadly we will have to remember this one as well.

As a class we went to the gym to watch the Challanger go up...... it was something to say the least.
And yesterday all I could do is run to my fiancee' and say the Challanger has happened all over again.
I can only pray that history will not again repeat itself.....the intial reaction of "Oh no, not again"... is a feeling I know we do not like.

I too remember Challenger, I sat watching the TV Saturday just numb that it happened agian. Perhaps the politicians who keep cutting NASA's budget will think twice, and give them the proper funding to keep people safe.
