Subscribers to receive new notification messages
Well, after trying everything under the sun to get the notification emails working again, I had to go with another route. My new host only allows 30 outgoing messages per hour. While this is a responsible practice to prevent those pesky spammers, it does prevent me from sending out the notifications. Our list is approaching 300 and growing every day.
Subscribers will now receive the update notification email from the same service that I am using for the monthly newsletters. I've imported the database of current subscribers over to the new system, so you should be getting notifications again.
When you subscribe (using the form on the right side-bar), you will be given two choices. Sign up for either the monthly newsletter, the site update notifications, or check both to receive everything. As always, you can unsubscribe at any time.
Keep in mind that even though you have voluntarily subscribed, some ISP's and spam filters will block these messages.
Thanks for putting up with the glitches. We are now on a brand-new server and zipping along nicely.
Hi Debbie:
The minute you change something my computer acts up and I can't get your site updated-the last update on mine was May 12. I'm getting good at messing with my computer just to get your site downloaded to my computer--It is wonderful as always
Cheryl: Sorry to hear you are having troubles. May 13 was the day that my host moved us to a new server. So, most likely your ISP is being VERY slow in propagating it, or try clearing your cache.
Posted by: McDeb at May 17, 2003 11:54 PMDebbie excellent job with MT
Husband should lay off the donuts
Tell your daughter college is overrated
Love your dog.
Posted by: Frank Rizzo at May 18, 2003 11:14 AMMy ISP finally caught up with your site! Already had cleared cache-today all I did was log on-great as always
Hey Frank: That's not nice!
Hubby is very handsome and the daughter MUST go to college! You may love my dog, but if you talk like that again, he will bite!
I almost deleted your comments. But, decided I would leave it up as an example of how some people can walk into the houses of others, take the free stuff, and then insult the host. Mixing nice comments with the insults does not make it okay.
Posted by: McDeb at May 18, 2003 1:04 PMDebbie did he see that post, please tell him nothing personal if he did. I'm in between wars right now with the Judical branch, state enforcement and the conflicting dichotomy of the whole freakshow. I just viewed some pictures of officer insubordination and said the first thing that came to mind. I meant what I said about your wonderful hubby with love.
"walk into the houses of others, take the free stuff"
This is true the web is so open anything is possible.
You lost me here though. Vic Mackey, (The Shield)would do such a thing after all he is Al Capone with a badge. I just like your site templates, stumbled in from Google search engine looking for other MT sites and got lost in yours. As you know if you've seen the film Matrix, the web is like jacking in and connecting to another realm.
Daughter must go to college, please. College is not for her. Its for the benifit of the corporation. Go to school because you want to, don't pander to corporate America.
Or maybe not...
Wicked tangent now, must stay focused.
Themes for PDAs pretty wild. Any dog themes.
peace,
Frank Rizzo
