Mini's gonna be jammin!
The MINI Cooper and I are anxiously awaiting the arrival of a brand-spankin' new Alpine CDA-9815! I'm thinking about actually trying to install it myself. I've read up on how to dismantle the MINI dash and remove the current head-unit. I've ordered an install kit and wiring harness and the little adapter thingy that I need in order to maintain my steering wheel audio controls. I'm pretty handy with stuff like this, but I've never installed a car stereo before. What's the worst that could happen? (other than electrocution and the embarrassment of giving up and taking the tangled mess to a custom shop).

Next adventure: XM Satellite Radio. Yeah baby!
Go for it girl. In our household, Im the one who looks after the car etc etc. Many years ago (ahem!), My dad made me change my first car tyre when I passed my test at 17. He figured he wouldnt be there to do it when I had a flat! There's nothing better than managing to do something by yourself. Let us know how you get on.
Will do, Pam. Thanks.
