Finally Upgraded - iPAQ 5555
I finally put aside my iPAQ 3800 series and made the leap to a fancy new HP iPaq 5555. This unit is very fast and the built is wi-fi is perfect for use on my wireless network at home. The screen in gorgeous. Now if Sprint PCS would finally offer a bluetooth enabled phone, all would be right in my world.
If anyone is interested in buying my iPAQ 3835 before I put it up on ebay, let me know. It's in excellent condition. I'd rather sell it to someone here, than go through the whole ebay thing. Special price just for Pocket McDeb visitors. $225 gets you the device, original box, documentation, extra stylus, cradle, AC adapter and maybe a few other goodies I have laying around here. I've got a Pretec 56K CF modem and very nice Vaja I-volution case in sapphire blue caterina leather and a Whitney modified CF Krussel case. Your choice of either case or the modem at no extra cost. I'll accept PayPal and ship for free in the US.
Posted by at 11:27 PMWow! A 5555!
I made the mistake of ordering a 5455 less than a month before the 5555's came out. I'm so jealous. I can really use the extra 64MB of memory. I've been thinking of sending mine off to PocketPC Techs, but what would I do while it's gone?
Pity i don't live in the states otherwise i would have snapped this little sucker up!
Posted by: Gerald at July 20, 2003 8:19 PMDeb, If you sell your 3835, and there are other folks interested, perhaps you could let me know. I also have an iPAQ 3835 for sale.

So how do you like it? I LOVE my 5555! I can't wait to see the themes that can be done with some of the changes. Wonderful device! And I agree...a Bluetooth CDMA phone (verizon here) is LONG overdue!
Posted by: gork at July 22, 2003 9:57 PMI also recently upgraded to the 5555. I had a 3955 and loved it, but broke the screen putting on a screen protector. The 5555 is a beautiful machine, and my 3955 expansion pack battery works with the 5555. One hint, Deb. Shut off the wireless connection when you're not using it, or your bsttery will last maybe 2 hours.
Posted by: Kevin Carlson at July 26, 2003 1:39 PM3800? I'm still using my iPAQ 3670!
