New Software Records Streaming Video for Pocket PC Playback

Below you will find the press release for a great new software title from Applian. I had the privilege of designing the user interface for WM Recorder as well as the product web site and other branding. WM Recorder makes it easy to RECORD streaming media. Give it a try.

------------

Applian Technologies announces WM Recorder, a new utility that captures streaming Video and Audio in Windows Media format for playback on a Pocket PC.

WM Recorder can record almost any Windows Media streaming content, and save it as ASF files. You can copy these to your Pocket PC, and enjoy music, music videos, corporate webcasts, sports videos, and any other kind of video or audio. You can make recordings from most subscription services as well.

WM Recorder operates as a PC-based application. Using it is
easy: You just open WM Recorder, click Record, and then play the videos or audio you want to record. Files are saved on your PC automatically, and will play on any Pocket PC with Windows Media Player installed on it. As long as the video is not protected by Digital Rights Management, you can play it anywhere without an active Internet connection.

WM Recorder is available now from here.

Order now, or try a free demo which limits recording to two minutes.

It sadly works only with wmv-files, if I understood the text correct. Would be nice to have one which could do this with any kind of sounds that comes thru your soundcard. question

But, out of question, the design even as the logo looks pretty well made. smile
