A Short Break...But Stay Tuned
Updates to the site and responses to email will be sporadic at best during the next week or so. My mother (also known as McMom) is in the hospital.
I'm spending most of my time there with her. Today is kind of a scary day for us. Mom is only 61, but she has a severe form of pneumonia and is in the critical care unit. This morning they opted to sedate her and put her on a ventilator. I'm hoping and praying that the ventilator will only be necessary for a few days. The doctors are optimistic and I'm trying real hard to be optimistic as well.
I'll check in here as often as I can. But, I'm sure all of you with Moms know how special they are, and how important it is to be there. Family comes first. Always.
Mom LOVES elephants, so here's a replay of one of her favorites:

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. Stay optimistic and pray, as we all are, for your mother. I do hope your prayers are answered and you truly have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
So sorry to hear about your Mom, and hope that she's soon back home in time for christmas. We're all thinking of you both, and wish her a speedy and safe recovery. Look after your Mom, and don't worry about the website - we'll all be here when you get back!
