So...What did ya get?

Merry Christmas everyone. So, now that Christmas day is winding down, the gifts have been unwrapped and all that turkey is making you sleepy, it's time for our annual report. I love hearing about what our readers received under the tree. This was not a typical Christmas here in the McCormick household. Trips back and forth to the hospital to be with Mom left little time for shopping and such. She's doing a little better. Still serious, still in the ICU, still on the ventilator. But, she's awake now and stable. We have a very long road ahead. My favorite Christmas gifts today were a smile from Mom and a good chest x-ray. smile

Okay, so here's some of what Santa brought this year:

New satellite TV receiver with TiVo!
XMPCR for my XM radio
Two Nintendo Game Cube games
Lord of the Rings Trilogy books
Shalimar (favorite perfume)
Soft flannel jammies
Elephant calendar (I get a new one every year)
Leather jacket
Book light
Best Buy gift card
Lowes gift card
Wristwatch

So...What did you get?

Three very large white tiger statutettes, a white tiger buck knife and a large framed white tiger photo...notice a theme here? Yes, I'm a white tiger fan, have been all my life and have a small (okay, not so small) shrine to my favorite feline. Also a new digital video camera, a couple of new DVD's and matching leather jacket and pads for the chair. Sandy got her new KIA that she's been wanting plus a bunch of girly stuff and I won't even begin to go into the pile that Jamie got!

I got God's richest blessing! My son, last week (1 week before Xmas) was in a motorbike accident and broke his spine!

To all the dr's amazement he didn't injure his central nervous system. He's on crutches and healing beautifully.

That to me is all I wanted for Xmas.
