New Comment Security Feature

No more comment spammers! mad I've had enough! Even though I had implemented a blacklist that filtered out many of the comments posted by spam bots, I still found myself manually deleting about 10-15 per day that had somehow gotten through. As of today we can kiss those spam comments goodbye!

It really is a shame that I have to ask our legitimate visitors to prove they are human beings before posting a comment here, but that's what life on the net has come to. You will notice that when posting a comment you will be asked to type in the numbers that you see in picture on the comment form. This just proves you are a real person, and not a comment spam bot. Go ahead and give it a try, it's easy.

Deb, Do you have any suggestions for trying to stop e-mail spam? question

Posted by: Elaine at April 9, 2004 2:19 AM

Just wanted to say hi, and I love all of your stuff!grin

Elaine: Probably the best way to completely stop email spam is to use a challenge response system like Mailblocks. See: http://www.mailblocks.com

I have not signed up yet because I hate to put potential customers through the challenge-response, but it would be great for personal accounts.

Amanda: Thanks for the comment. smile

Hi
I just wanted to say congratulations on your beautiful work. Most of the themes on my ppc and wallpapers on my pc are from your site, they get constant compliments. .some of the girls at work have asked for your site and are using the wallpaper too. Our office looks great (when we aren't working:lolsmile
I was wondering if you could maybe do a leopard print theme? Thanks for considering and please keep up the great work!
