Happy 18th Birthday Kristen!
This post has absolutely nothing to do with PDA's or graphic design. It's for my daughter. I could not think of a more public way to demonstrate how proud I am of my beautiful Kristen Jane. She'll probably kill me for doing this, but a daughter only turns 18 once (I hope!). This picture was taken Saturday night at one of the final senior performances at Kristen's high school. She's a very talented violinist with a bright future in music. Kristen will be attending Berklee College of Music in Boston next year. Berklee is the world's largest independent music college and the premier institution for the study of contemporary music. The prominent alumni list includes such names as John Mayer, Melissa Etheridge, Bruce Hornsby, Quincy Jones, Branford Marsalis and many more.
This past weekend, Kristen and I had a great time shopping for a Prom dress. She will look gorgeous in the white/lavender dress that she picked out. It will match her long-time boyfriend Chris' lavender and white tux perfectly. By the way, Chris is a drummer and will also be attending Berklee. He's a great guy and they are best of friends. He's passed all of my tests with flying colors.
Happy 18th Birthday kiddo! We love you.
