A great big congratulations to my husband, Dan. We just received the results of the Lieutenant's test, and Dan placed first. So, effective this September he'll be promoted to Lieutenant in his Police Department.

This news came as a huge shock to Dan, but not to me. I always knew he had it in him to move up to a position where he could affect positive change and be a great leader. Even though I know this post will probably embarrass him a little, he deserves my public show of pride. It's a happy day in the McCormick house.
