Now, I'm not what you would call a big gamer, but I love a good distraction from the real world now and then. PODZ reminded me of Zuma, one of my all-time favorite desktop PC games. I'd finished Zuma a couple of weeks ago, so I was thrilled when something similar became available for the Pocket PC. I was even more thrilled when I installed the game and wasted the next few hours determined to get to the next level. Then another. Okay, just one more level and I'll stop. Well, maybe one more...

PODZ is an arcade style 25 level game. "The game involves a cascade of Podz that travel along a pathway heading relentlessly toward the innner core, your aim is to stop them at all costs by firing Podz into the chain and destroying the seemingly endless flow." The graphics, sound effects and music are quite impressive. This is a very well done game. Give it a try, and I guarantee you'll be hooked.
