Some News, and A Wonderful View

Life changes can be scary, challenging, exciting and fun all at the same time. Mine is about to change drastically. After almost 20 years in the labor relations field, the geek in me has finally won out. I've accepted a full-time position with Applian Technologies as their Technology and Design Specialist. I've had the pleasure of working with Applian on many projects over the last few years, and I'm honored to have the opportunity to be a part of their team. I'll get started early next month.

No worries here though...Pocket McDeb will live on as is.

In celebration of the new gig, I bought myself a present. A 24" widescreen flat panel beauty. The Dell UltraSharp 2405FPW is now perched proudly on my desk and I may I say...WOW!! What an amazing monitor. Crisp, clear, bright and a pleasure to work on. Since I'm going to start spending a lot more hours staring into a monitor, I'm glad it's this one.

congratulations on a new endeavor. They have some of my favorite products and I'm sure you will do wonderfully. Aren't they stationed in California? If so will you be working out of the home? Great news?

Hi Cheryl. Yes, they are in California, but I'll be working here in Ohio in my home office with an occassional trip west. My dog is happy.

First off, I'm drooling looking at that beauty...wow is all that I can say. Secondly, I love your desktop wallpaper. Where did you get it from? I'd love to have it on my widescreen notebook.
